A few days ago I was able to shoot at Boxing event in Edmonton Alberta, thanks to my wonderful cousin that obtained a press pass for me, THANK YOUUUUUUU!
Definitely had a bit of lens envy, as all the pros had well in excess of 10,000 worth of equipment, and there I am with my d300s and 2 lenses.  I was very nervous but some of the pros even asked me for tips (as I had mention that I had taken pictures of Boxing before, just never with a press pass). After reviewing a few of my photos, they told me it's not about the equipment its about how you use it, so within a few minutes I basically forgot all about my relative lack of equipment and knowledge and just had fun with it.
